Surrogacy with Donor Eggs in Ukraine

Surrogacy with donor eggs in Ukraine

A complete donor-egg surrogacy pathway for families who need both an egg donor and a gestational surrogate.

Nova Espero coordinates donor selection, IVF and embryo creation, surrogate matching, pregnancy support and legal documentation as one individual program. The medical route is planned around the intended father’s results, the family’s preferences and the documentation required by its country.

Surrogacy with donor eggs may be considered when the intended mother cannot provide eggs suitable for treatment and cannot safely carry a pregnancy. Embryos are created using eggs from a selected donor and sperm from the intended father, then transferred to a gestational surrogate who has no genetic relationship to the child.

Medical suitability and legal eligibility must be reviewed before a program is confirmed. Requirements depend on the family’s diagnosis, marital status, citizenship and planned route home with the child.

When donor eggs may be recommended

A fertility specialist may recommend donor eggs in cases such as significantly reduced ovarian reserve, premature ovarian insufficiency, repeated treatment with poor-quality eggs or embryos, certain genetic risks, or previous IVF cycles where another approach is medically advisable. The decision is based on the medical history and current examination rather than age alone.

Egg donor selection from our own database

Intended parents can review suitable candidates from Nova Espero’s actively maintained donor database. Profiles contain non-identifying information relevant to matching, while photographs and protected personal or medical information are available only to authorised clients.

The family can discuss preferences such as appearance, height, education and other profile characteristics with its coordinator. Availability and medical compatibility are then confirmed. A selected donor is examined again by the coordinating doctor before ovarian stimulation begins.

Screening and medical review

Medical screening

General and reproductive health are assessed through the examinations and laboratory tests required for the planned treatment cycle.

Infectious-disease testing

Testing is performed in accordance with the clinic’s current protocol before the donor is approved for treatment.

Family and genetic history

The donor’s personal and family history is reviewed, with genetic testing selected according to the clinic’s protocol and the circumstances of the case.

Psychological assessment

The donor’s understanding, motivation and readiness to participate are reviewed before final approval.

How the donor-egg surrogacy program works

  1. Initial review: medical records, reproductive history, sperm results, citizenship and legal route are assessed.
  2. Donor match: suitable available candidates are shortlisted from the database and the chosen donor completes current screening.
  3. IVF and embryo creation: the donor undergoes stimulation and egg retrieval. Eggs are fertilised in the laboratory and embryos are cultured under the treating doctor and embryology team.
  4. Surrogate match: a medically and psychologically screened surrogate is selected and the required agreements and consents are prepared.
  5. Embryo transfer: the surrogate is prepared according to the doctor’s protocol and embryo transfer is performed.
  6. Pregnancy and birth: a dedicated coordinator follows examinations, medication, reporting and delivery arrangements.
  7. Documents after birth: our in-house licensed Ukrainian lawyer (attorney-at-law) coordinates the Ukrainian legal documents and the agreed route for the family’s return home.

Transparent payments and communication

The program is divided into documented stages rather than collected as one full advance payment. The final quotation depends on the chosen clinic, donor and surrogate compensation, medical options and the needs of the individual case. Families may communicate with their surrogate mother, and agreed monthly payments may be transferred directly to her bank account if the family prefers.

A coordinated team, not just a clinic booking

The result depends on the combination of treating doctor, embryology team, medical-document staff, donor and surrogate coordinators, pregnancy coordinator, psychologist and legal support. Nova Espero’s role is to connect these parts and keep one responsible plan from the first review through birth documentation.
